Just don't go in expecting too much, and you won't be disappointed. I do think it's worth buying, but I'd have no problem recommending it as a rental (especially if you're a fan of the original). I don't accept it as a sequel up to the standards of the original Brother Bear, by its own merits, it's a decent movie.
